The Piccadilly line runs 24 hours on Friday and Saturday nights; the rest of the week it stops. The N9 night bus runs every night to central London, slowly. After midnight
The Heathrow Express to Paddington and the Elizabeth line both stop well before the last long-haul arrivals of the night. The Express typically runs its final departure a little before midnight; the Elizabeth line finishes shortly after. If your aircraft is late, both are gone by the time you reach the platform.
What continues depends on the day. The Piccadilly line runs a 24-hour service on Friday and Saturday nights as part of the Night Tube, calling at the Heathrow stations and running through to central London in roughly 50–60 minutes. On Sunday to Thursday nights there is no Night Tube at Heathrow, and the first trains do not start until around 5 AM.
Every night of the week, the N9 night bus runs from Heathrow towards Hounslow, Hammersmith, Kensington and Trafalgar Square. It is genuinely useful and genuinely slow — allow well over an hour to central London, more with luggage and a change at the other end. Timetables change, so check the live TfL status before relying on any of this; what is below is the shape of the network, not tonight's guaranteed departure board.
