RushXO Ltd ("RushXO", "we") provides private hire transfer services across the UK. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) under registration ZC112187, and we are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

1. What we collect

• Booking details: your name, phone number, email address, pickup and drop-off addresses, travel dates and times, passenger and luggage counts, and flight or ship details where you provide them for tracking.
• Payment information: payments are processed by our payment providers (such as Stripe or PayPal). We do not store your full card details on our servers.
• Communications: messages you send us by email, WhatsApp, SMS or phone, and booking confirmations and reminders we send you.
• Website data: basic technical data (such as IP address and browser type) generated when you use rushxo.com.

2. Why we use it

• To provide the transfer you booked — dispatching a driver, tracking your flight or ship, and meeting you at the right place (performance of a contract).
• To take payment and issue confirmations, receipts and invoices (performance of a contract; legal obligation).
• To send booking-related messages such as driver details and pickup reminders (performance of a contract).
• To respond to enquiries, complaints and lost-property requests (legitimate interests).
• To meet our obligations as a licensed private hire operator, including record-keeping required by our licensing authority (legal obligation).

3. Who we share it with

• Your driver — the details needed to complete your journey (name, pickup, destination, contact number).
• Service providers — payment processors, SMS/messaging providers and booking-system hosting, each acting under contract.
• Partner operators — for journeys fulfilled by a partner (for example some regional airport transfers), the booking details needed to complete the journey.
• Authorities — where required by law or by our private hire licensing obligations.

We do not sell your personal data.

4. How long we keep it

We keep booking records for as long as required by our licensing obligations and for legitimate business purposes such as accounting and resolving disputes, after which they are deleted or anonymised.

5. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at bookings@rushxo.com.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
