London Heathrow Airport (LHR) complete transfer service
Heathrow Airport (IATA: LHR, ICAO: EGLL) is the United Kingdom's largest and busiest airport, handling over 80 million passengers annually across four operational terminals. As one of Europe's busiest airports, Heathrow serves 80+ airlines flying to 200+ destinations worldwide. Located in the western Greater London borough of Hillingdon, 14 miles west of central London, Heathrow is the principal point of arrival for international visitors to the UK and London.
RushXO operates fixed-price chauffeur transfers from all four Heathrow terminals — Terminal 2 (the Queen's Terminal, opened 2014, serving Star Alliance carriers including United, Lufthansa, Air Canada, Singapore Airlines, ANA, Eva Air, Asiana, Turkish Airlines, Egyptair, Air China); Terminal 3 (originally opened 1961 and extensively modernized, serving Oneworld carriers including British Airways short-haul, American Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Qatar Airways, Finnair, plus other carriers); Terminal 4 (1986, serving SkyTeam alliance including KLM, Delta, Air France, Korean Air, Saudia, Etihad, plus Gulf Air, Vietnam Airlines, Royal Brunei); and Terminal 5 (2008, the British Airways hub serving all BA long-haul plus most BA short-haul, Iberia, American Airlines select routes). Heathrow's previous Terminal 1 closed in 2015; the airport currently operates only T2, T3, T4, and T5.
Our drivers are terminal specialists — every driver in the Heathrow rota knows the layout of all four terminals' arrivals halls, the dedicated pre-booked pickup zones (executive transfer parking, not the public taxi rank), the hotel pods serving airport hotels, the short-stay car parks, the long-stay car parks, and the optimum motorway and A-road routes to and from each terminal for different traffic conditions.

Heathrow pickup at every terminal
Every Heathrow terminal has a different arrivals layout and its own pickup point. Here's exactly where your RushXO driver meets you at each one — and what the airport charges in 2026.
Terminal 2 — Queen's Terminal
Star Alliance — United, Lufthansa, Singapore Airlines, Air Canada, Turkish Airlines, ANA and others.
Arrivals bring you into the main ground-floor hall. The designated pickup point is the Short Stay car park opposite the terminal, about a two-minute covered walk — not the forecourt outside the doors, which is drop-off only.
Terminal 3 — arrivals pickup
Emirates, Qatar Airways, Cathay Pacific, American Airlines, Virgin Atlantic (some routes).
T3 exits into a busy hall shared with a large retail concourse. The pickup zone is the Short Stay car park a short walk from the exit. As one of the most congested terminals, an inside meet is far calmer than a kerbside stop.
Terminal 4 — arrivals pickup
SkyTeam — KLM, Air France, Korean Air, Etihad, Saudia, China Eastern and others.
T4 sits separately on the south side of the airport with its own dedicated Short Stay car park as the pickup point. It's the quietest of the four for collections, which usually means a quick, smooth exit.
Terminal 5 — arrivals pickup
British Airways (main hub) and Iberia.
T5 is the busiest single terminal at Heathrow and BA's home base, with the Short Stay car park adjacent as the official pickup point. During school holidays and summer peaks the forecourt is heavily congested, so an inside meet is the reliable option.
| Heathrow charge (2026) | Detail |
|---|---|
| Terminal Drop-Off Charge | £7 per entry, every terminal (T2/T3/T4/T5). Rose from £6 on 1 January 2026. |
| Short Stay car park (pickup point) | Charged by time from arrival; the airport's designated collection point, about a 2-minute walk from arrivals. |
| Free alternative | Long Stay / Park & Ride give around 30 minutes free, with a free bus transfer to the terminal. |
| If the drop-off fee isn't paid | £80 Parking Charge Notice, reduced to £40 within 14 days. ANPR cameras — there are no barriers. |
Charges are set by Heathrow Airport, not by RushXO, and can change. With a RushXO booking, any applicable airport charge is made clear at the time of booking — no meter, no surprise on arrival.

Why RushXO for Heathrow transfers
TfL licensed. RushXO holds a Transport for London Private Hire Operator licence (number 11588) — the UK regulatory standard for private hire in London. We are not a rideshare aggregator or unlicensed operator. Our drivers are contracted directly to RushXO, not gig-economy app drivers, and you keep the same driver throughout a multi-leg booking.
Fixed prices, agreed at booking. No meter. No surge. No night surcharge. No weekend surcharge. No bank holiday surcharge. The journey fare is confirmed before you travel.
Terminal-specialist drivers. Every driver in our Heathrow rota knows the layout of all four terminals' arrivals halls, the dedicated pre-booked pickup zones, the hotel pods, the short-stay car parks, the optimum motorway routes for different traffic conditions, and alternative routes for disruption (M25 closures, accidents, weather events).
Flight tracking. Particularly important for transatlantic, Asian, and Middle Eastern arrivals where flight times can vary by hours. We monitor every arriving flight and adjust the driver's dispatch automatically, so free waiting starts from your actual landing time.
Luggage capacity. Saloon fits up to 5 suitcases; Executive and MPV up to 6-8. For cruise luggage we allocate appropriate vehicles based on party size and stated luggage volume.
24/7 UK-based dispatch. Phone 02088889988 at any hour and reach a UK-based controller, not an overseas call centre.

Terminal 4. Opened 1986. Home of SkyTeam carriers — KLM, Delta, Air France (some routes), Korean Air, Saudia, China Eastern, Vietnam Airlines, plus Etihad, Gulf Air and MEA. Meet point: dedicated meet-and-greet area at the arrivals exit, south side.
Terminal 5. Opened 2008. The British Airways global hub — all BA long-haul, most BA short-haul and domestic, plus Iberia. The largest single airport terminal in the UK. Meet point: central meet-and-greet at the arrivals exit.

How our fixed-price model works
RushXO operates on a strict fixed-price-at-booking model. The price you see is the price you pay — no meter, no surge, no surge-priced surcharges. Here's how that compares to the alternatives:
Black cab (taxi rank): Metered fare based on TfL rates plus tolls and surcharges. For Heathrow to central London the meter typically runs £75-£110 depending on traffic and time; longer journeys can exceed £200-£300. The meter doesn't stop for traffic — slow journeys cost more.
Uber / Bolt (rideshare apps): Dynamic surge pricing that can multiply base fares during peak times, weather disruption or major events. Whoever accepts the trip drives it, there's no name-board meet-and-greet at Heathrow, and no guaranteed flight tracking.
Public transport: Heathrow Express to Paddington (fast but priced per person), the Piccadilly line, or the Elizabeth line. All require onward connections and carrying luggage across platforms. For groups of 3+ with luggage, combined ticket costs often approach or exceed a fixed-price taxi with no time saving.
RushXO fixed price: the same price 24/7, no surge, all the core inclusions listed at booking. See the "What's included" note below for the few optional extras (like the airport drop-off charge) that some journeys attract.
Transparent pricing — no hidden charges
Always included: the fixed journey fare, driver in arrivals with a name board, real-time flight tracking, 60 minutes of free waiting from your actual landing time, a professional driver, a modern vehicle, and full insurance.
Occasionally extra (always disclosed at booking): the £7 airport drop-off charge at the departures forecourt (set by Heathrow; rose from £6 on 1 January 2026); the Congestion Charge (£15, weekdays, central London only); the ULEZ charge (older non-compliant vehicles only); and additional waiting beyond the free 60 minutes.

Meet-and-greet at all 4 Heathrow terminals
Meet-and-greet is included in every Heathrow pickup — no extra charge. Here's what happens from booking to journey start.
Before your flight: booking confirmation by SMS within minutes. Driver details (name, vehicle, registration, direct mobile) sent by SMS ahead of your scheduled landing.
During your flight: our dispatch system tracks your flight and adjusts the driver's dispatch to your actual landing time automatically — you don't need to call about delays.
On landing: allow time for disembarkation, immigration, and baggage. Total terminal-to-arrivals-hall time is typically 30-60 minutes for international flights, and your free waiting covers it.
At arrivals: your driver waits in the public meeting area with a name board showing your surname. If you can't spot the driver, call them directly on the number in your confirmation, or call 24/7 dispatch on 02088889988.
To the vehicle: the driver assists with luggage to the pre-booked pickup zone (executive transfer parking — not the public taxi rank), loads your bags, and you depart in comfort.
