Heathrow has four terminals, and they're not all in the same place — so knowing yours before you travel saves time and stress. Here's a general guide to which airlines typically use each terminal, with the all-important caveat: always confirm on your boarding pass, because allocations change.
Terminal 2 — the Queen's Terminal
Mostly Star Alliance carriers — typically United, Lufthansa, Singapore Airlines, Air Canada and Swiss. Book a Terminal 2 transfer.
Terminal 3
Long-haul names such as Virgin Atlantic, Emirates, Delta, American Airlines and Cathay Pacific. See Terminal 3 transfers.
Terminal 4 — south side
Largely SkyTeam and partners — typically KLM, Air France, Etihad, Qatar Airways and Malaysia Airlines. Note T4 is separate from the central terminals; book a Terminal 4 transfer so your driver goes to the right side.
Terminal 5
The dedicated home of British Airways and Iberia. One arrivals hall makes it the easiest for meet & greet — see Terminal 5 transfers.
Still unsure where to meet your driver?
Whatever your terminal, our driver confirms it from your flight number and meets you inside arrivals. Read where to meet your driver at Heathrow, or go straight to the meet & greet minibus service.
