AFTER-SHOW · NO SCRAMBLE · FIXED FARE

After-Show Taxi London

London black cab parked beside a red telephone box

The hardest cab of any West End night is the one home. An after-show taxi is pre-booked and already waiting just off the crowd when the curtain falls — same fixed fare, no surge, no scramble.

The hardest cab of any West End night is the one home. An after-show taxi is pre-booked and already waiting just off the crowd when the curtain falls — same fixed fare, no surge, no scramble.

Why the after-show cab is the hard one

When the curtain falls, several thousand seats empty onto the same handful of streets within minutes. Walk-up cabs vanish and rideshare prices climb against the surge. A pre-booked after-show taxi sidesteps all of it.

How it works

You give us the venue and finish time at booking. Your driver is assigned to you and waits at an agreed point just off the main crowd — often a quieter side street — so you walk straight to a named car on the same fixed price you paid coming in, with no late-night surcharge.

  • Give us your venue and show finish time
  • Driver assigned and waits at agreed drop-off point
  • Walk straight to your named car
  • Pay fixed fare on arrival (no changes)

Estimated fares

All fares include 60-minute free wait and are the same whether you book at 4 PM or use the car at midnight.

From To Estimated Fare
West End (Strand Theatre area) Zone 2 South (Clapham, Peckham) £32–38
West End (Strand Theatre area) Zone 3 West (Ealing, Acton) £48–56
South Bank (Royal Festival Hall) Zone 1 East (City, Whitechapel) £18–24
South Bank (National Theatre) Heathrow Airport £68–76
West End (Apollo Theatre) Zone 1 Central (Home counties nearby) £28–34

💡 Price guarantee: The fare you see at booking is the fare you pay. No surge, no hidden charges. Confirmation at time of booking.

Late finishes & last trains

Off-West-End and South Bank venues such as the Old Vic, Young Vic and Sadler's Wells often finish near or after the last trains. A door-to-door car removes the question entirely — foyer to front door, whatever the hour.

Typical West End show times:
Most shows run 2h 30min–3h (with 15–20 min interval), finishing between 9:45 PM–11:00 PM. Last Northern Line trains depart around 12:34 AM; Circle/District lines around 12:30 AM. Booking an after-show taxi guarantees you're home regardless of delays or overruns.

Just seen Hamilton. Driver was waiting exactly where they said. No scramble, no surge pricing. Back home in 25 minutes. Brilliant service.

Show overran by 20 minutes. Messaged the driver and they were still there waiting. No complaints, no extra charge. Absolute lifesaver.

Fixed fare was £34. Checked Uber surge at that moment — would have been £67. Worth every penny for the certainty and reliability.

Didn't know the area well. Having a named driver waiting at a specific spot took all the stress out of post-show logistics. Highly recommend.

Frequently asked questions

How does an after-show pickup work?
You give us the venue and finish time at booking; your driver waits at an agreed point just off the crowd, and you walk to a named car on the same fixed fare.
Is there a surcharge late at night?
No — the fixed fare is the same after the show as before it, with no surge whatever the hour. The price you book at is the price you pay.
What if the show overruns?
We build in a buffer and you can message the driver — the car waits, not circles. If your show runs 20 minutes late, the driver is still there.
When should I book?
Book anytime before your show. Last-minute bookings (same day) are available but may have limited car types. Best availability and selection: 7+ days in advance.
What if I need to cancel or change the pickup time?
No problem — message your driver via WhatsApp or call us. Free changes up to 2 hours before pickup. Cancel free up to 4 hours before your pickup time; cancellations after that incur a 50% charge.
What's included in the fixed fare?
60 minutes of free waiting time, door-to-door service, and a named driver. There are no hidden charges or meter — the price shown at booking is final.
