We got tired of making excuses for a broken industry.
So we stopped excusing it and built something better. Rushxo Ltd was incorporated in May 2025 in Dartford, on the eastern edge of London, after founder Vin missed a flight at 4am because of a no-show driver — no call, no explanation, just a long wait in an empty car park.
That moment became a list. Vin wrote down every specific thing that had gone wrong over years of being let down by private hire — surge pricing, distant drivers cancelling at the last minute, chatbots where a real person should have been. The list became the blueprint: fixed fares because surge pricing is dishonest, local drivers because someone forty miles away has no business driving your street, real humans because nobody wants to press one for billing at 3am.
One year in, we've completed over 1,000 rides across England with a 5.0 Google rating. The team is bigger now, the cities are more, but the list is still the rulebook. Nothing on it has ever been crossed off.
