About Gatwick

London Gatwick Airport (LGW) complete transfer service

Gatwick Airport (IATA: LGW, ICAO: EGKK) is the United Kingdom's second-busiest airport, handling around 46 million passengers a year from a single runway — the busiest single-runway airport in the world. It sits on the Surrey–Sussex border near Crawley, about 28 miles south of central London via the A23 and M23.

Gatwick has two terminals — North and South — connected by a free automated shuttle train that takes about three minutes. Unlike Heathrow's four terminals, the layout here is simpler, but the North/South split still matters: your airline decides which one you use, and they are a shuttle ride apart. Always check your terminal before travelling, and tell us at booking so your driver meets you at the right arrivals hall.

RushXO runs fixed-price chauffeured transfers to and from both Gatwick terminals, 24 hours a day. Because Gatwick sits south of London, it is the natural airport for the South Coast — Brighton is only about 30 minutes away, and we cover Sussex, Surrey and Kent as easily as London itself. Every fare is agreed at booking: no meter, no surge, no surprises.

Why RushXO

Why RushXO for Gatwick transfers

Gatwick's North/South split and its distance from London are exactly where a meter or a surge app costs you. With RushXO the price is fixed at booking — a 6am South Terminal pickup costs the same as a midnight North Terminal run.

Meet-and-greet at both terminals. Your driver waits in the correct arrivals hall — North or South — with a name board, and helps with the luggage. We track your flight, so an early landing or a delay is handled without a call from you. If Border Force is slow, the driver waits; the fare does not move.

Right on the South Coast's doorstep. Because Gatwick is south of London, we reach Brighton, Crawley, Horley, Sussex and Surrey faster and cheaper than a London-based firm would — often on a lower fixed fare than the same trip to Heathrow.

Terminal guide

Gatwick Airport terminal guide

North Terminal. Home to British Airways, easyJet (some routes), TUI and a number of long-haul carriers. The arrivals hall opens onto a forecourt where we arrange meet-and-greet; tell us "North" at booking and your driver is waiting the moment you clear customs.

South Terminal. Used by easyJet (most routes), Ryanair, Vueling, British Airways short-haul and others. It also connects directly to Gatwick railway station, which is why it is busier at peak times. Our driver meets you inside South arrivals with a name board.

The shuttle between them. A free automated transit train links North and South in about three minutes, running roughly every couple of minutes. If you land at the wrong terminal it is a quick fix — but it is far easier to give us the right terminal at booking so no time is lost with luggage.

Not sure which terminal? Your airline confirms it on your booking, and airlines occasionally switch, so check close to travel. If in doubt, message us the flight number and we will confirm it for you.

How it works

How our fixed-price model works

Enter your Gatwick terminal and destination and we return one fixed price for the whole journey. That figure is confirmed at booking and is the exact total you pay — it does not change with traffic on the M23, the time of your flight, or how busy the airport is.

The fare already includes the driver's time, fuel, the meet-and-greet, flight tracking and a period of free waiting after landing. There is no meter counting up while you clear the terminal, and no late-night or weekend premium.

Fleet

Our Gatwick fleet

Saloon — up to 4 passengers, 2 large cases. The everyday Gatwick transfer for couples and solo travellers.

Executive — Mercedes E-Class or BMW 5 Series with a suited chauffeur, for business trips and a quieter ride.

MPV 6-seater — families and groups with cruise luggage; child seats free on request.

8-seater minibus — the whole party together for a holiday or a South Coast trip, one fixed fare.

Meet & greet

Meet-and-greet at both Gatwick terminals

Your driver meets you inside the arrivals hall — North or South, whichever you fly into — holding a name board, not waiting in a car park or calling you from outside. We track your flight, so the driver is already there when you land, early or late.

After landing you get 60 minutes of free waiting, which covers immigration and baggage reclaim at both terminals. The driver helps with your luggage and walks you to the vehicle. Tell us your terminal at booking so there is no confusion at a two-terminal airport.

FAQ

Gatwick Airport transfers frequently asked questions

How much is a taxi from Gatwick to central London?
A fixed-price saloon to central London is from £75, agreed at booking with no meter and no surge. Executive, MPV and minibus are quoted the same way. Gatwick is further from London than Heathrow, so the fare reflects the extra distance on the M23/A23.
North or South Terminal — which do I need?
Your airline decides. British Airways long-haul, TUI and some easyJet routes use North; most easyJet, Ryanair and Vueling use South. It is on your booking confirmation, and airlines occasionally switch — so check close to travel and tell us the terminal, or send us the flight number and we will confirm it.
Is a taxi cheaper than the Gatwick Express?
For one person travelling light, the Gatwick Express to Victoria (about 30 minutes) is usually cheaper. For two or more with luggage, an early or late flight, or a door-to-door trip with no station change, a fixed-fare car is often better value and far less hassle. We will tell you honestly which suits your trip.
How far is Gatwick from Brighton?
Only about 30 minutes down the A23 — roughly 26 miles. Because Gatwick sits south of London, Brighton and the whole South Coast are much closer to it than to Heathrow, and our fixed fares reflect that.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
We track your flight in real time and adjust the pickup automatically. After landing you have 60 minutes of free waiting, and if immigration or baggage runs over, the driver waits — the fixed fare does not change.
Do you cover Crawley, Horley and Sussex?
Yes — Gatwick is right beside Crawley and Horley, and we cover Sussex and Surrey as our local area. Short local transfers to and from the airport start from about £45, fixed at booking.
Can you carry a group with cruise luggage?
Yes — our MPV 6-seater and 8-seater minibus have room for cruise cases, and we run fixed fares from Gatwick to Southampton, Dover and Portsmouth cruise terminals.
Are you available 24/7?
Yes — Gatwick runs early and late flights, and so do we. Pickups and drop-offs at any hour, at the same fixed fare, with no night surcharge.
