A dignified, step-free transfer to Heathrow in a proper wheelchair accessible vehicle. Our WAVs have a rear ramp and a low, flat floor, so you board seated in your own wheelchair and stay secured with full restraints for the journey — no awkward transfer into a car seat unless you prefer one. Trained drivers assist you to the special-assistance point at your terminal, companions travel alongside, and the Blue Badge drop-off exemption can be arranged. Fixed fare, no surge, 24/7.
Drop-off included · free cancellation 24h
Travelling through an airport the size of Heathrow with reduced mobility takes planning, and the ground transfer is the part you can make genuinely easy. A RushXO wheelchair accessible vehicle removes the hardest moments: there's no lifting in and out of a low car, no folding and heaving a chair into a boot, and no uncertainty about whether the vehicle that turns up can actually take a wheelchair. You board up the ramp seated, your chair is locked down with proper restraints and you wear a passenger seatbelt, and a companion travels in the same vehicle. At the airport, the driver helps you to your terminal's special-assistance point, where Heathrow's PRM team takes over.
WAV from £85 · rear ramp, low flat floor, board seated · full wheelchair restraints + passenger belt · trained drivers, extra time allowed · help to T2–T5 special-assistance points · companions travel together · Blue Badge drop-off exemption arranged · drop-off charge included · no surge · 24/7 · 4.9★ from 4,850 patrons

A rear ramp and low, flat floor mean you board in your own wheelchair without transferring — no lifting, no manoeuvring into a low car seat.
Your wheelchair is locked down with certified restraints and you travel with a passenger seatbelt, so the journey is safe and stable from door to terminal.
Our drivers are experienced with disabled and less-mobile passengers, assist calmly with boarding and luggage, and we build in extra time so nothing is rushed.
At Heathrow the driver helps you to the special-assistance meeting point for your terminal — 2, 3, 4 or 5 — where the airport's PRM team continues your journey airside.
Family or carers ride in the same vehicle, so you stay together throughout — no separate cars and no one left behind.
Heathrow's drop-off exemption for Blue Badge holders must be pre-registered on Heathrow's portal; we can advise, and the charge is included in your fare regardless.
From 1 January 2026 Heathrow applies a £7 drop-off charge for up to ten minutes at the Terminals 2, 3, 4 and 5 forecourts, enforced by number-plate cameras. There is a registered exemption for Blue Badge holders, but it isn't automatic at the barrier.
| Heathrow (2026) | Charge | With RushXO |
|---|---|---|
| Forecourt drop-off (per visit) | £7 | Included — £0 |
| Blue Badge holder (pre-registered) | Exempt* | Arranged / included |
| Unpaid drop-off penalty (PCN) | up to £80 | Never — £0 |
*Blue Badge exemption must be registered in advance via Heathrow's official portal. Either way the drop-off charge is inside your fixed RushXO fare. Figures are indicative 2026 Heathrow charges, shown to explain the exemption, not a RushXO charge.

"Booked the WAV for my father to Heathrow. He stayed in his own wheelchair the whole way, properly secured, and the driver walked us to the assistance point at T5. So much kinder than wrestling with a normal car."
"The ramp and the patient, trained driver made all the difference. No rushing, my powerchair locked down securely, and my husband rode with me. Met us in arrivals on the way home too. Highly recommend."
"They sorted the Blue Badge drop-off side of things and the charge was already in the fare. Door to the T3 assistance desk with help all the way. Genuinely accessible, not just a label."
