From Fulham we head north to the A40 Westway, run out past Northolt and onto the M40, leaving at Junction 8 for the A40 into Oxford — or, depending on traffic and your exact destination, the M4 to Junction 13 and the A34 north. The motorway stretch is fast; the variable is the Westway at peak and the approach into central Oxford, which tightens around college term dates and event weekends.
